I LOVE SANTA CRUZ!!!!
The Monterey Bay is ideal for Central California beach camping. There are three wonderful state parks to camp at--Sunsets, New Brighton, and Seacliff. Seacliff only accepts self-contained vehicles. All have access to wide flat sandy beaches.
